Microtube Technologies is looking for a Sensor Engineer to develop sensors for our light-weight bespoke gloves for a wide range of application such as rehabilitation, healthcare training, robotic control and gaming.

As a Sensor Engineer in Microtube Technologies, you will be primarily responsible for research, design, development, testing and support of the sensors used within our bespoke wearables. This candidate will collaborate with system engineers in development and improvement of sensor solutions. This position reports to the Product Manager and interfaces with the Technical team.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or closely related field
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience utilizing CAD software
• Experienced in the use of general engineering lab equipment
• Fine hand skills for soldering and other similar benchtop assembly processes
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and components
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
