Lianhe Zaobao featured the InfinityGlove, which the team named after the Infinity Gauntlet of the Avengers films. Sensors along the back of the fingers and a motion sensor on the back of the hand send gestures wirelessly to a computer, so the glove can stand in for a mouse, keyboard or game controller. It weighs about 40 grams, a fraction of a typical gamepad, and runs for eight hours.
The team bought an Xbox and Battlefield V to learn how players use controllers. Beyond gaming, they saw uses in robot control, hand rehabilitation and even sign-language translation. The article reported that the team had set up Microtube and was raising funds. Its second half covers a different NUS project.
