Touch, untethered.

HEXR is a cordless pneumatic haptic glove that lets you feel objects in VR and mixed reality. Soft actuators recreate the sensation of touch — contact, force and vibration that deepen immersion, with nothing strapped between you and the virtual world.

How it works

Engineered to disappear on the hand.

Soft pneumatic actuation

Air-driven soft actuators press against the fingers to simulate contact, force and texture — no rigid exoskeleton.

Hand-tracking compatible

Pairs with your headset or an optical tracker like Leap Motion, so your natural gestures drive the experience while HEXR layers touch on top.

Ultra-low latency

Under 20ms from event to sensation, so touch feels instant.

FAQ

Common questions.

What does HEXR let you feel?
HEXR uses soft pneumatic actuators to deliver soft touch — the sensation of contact and force as you reach out and interact with virtual objects in VR and mixed reality. The same system can also generate vibration effects, adding texture, impact and alerts alongside that sense of pressure.
Which headsets and devices does HEXR work with?
HEXR works with Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest 3S, Pico 4 and Microsoft HoloLens, and pairs with Leap Motion hand-tracking — layering haptics on top of your existing VR/MR setup.
Does HEXR track my hand?
No. HEXR provides the touch feedback; hand-tracking comes from your headset or an optical tracker like Leap Motion, and HEXR adds the sensation on top of your natural gestures.
Is it wired or heavy?
HEXR is cordless and lightweight at around 306g per hand, and slips on and off in seconds — so it stays comfortable across long training or demo sessions.
How long does the battery last?
Around three hours of continuous use. The battery pack is removable, so a charged one swaps in within seconds for a quick hot-swap rather than waiting on a recharge — and additional batteries can be purchased, which keeps back-to-back sessions running all day.
What is HEXR used for?
Healthcare and medical simulation, hands-on training, and cultural and entertainment experiences — anywhere a real sense of touch enhances the experience.
