The short version. We do not track you. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and contains no advertising or social-media trackers. The only personal information we collect is what you type into our contact form, or into our event form when you visit our stand, and we use it to reply to you and follow up with you.
This notice covers microtube.tech. The ARIS Go mobile app has an account and records your training, so it collects more than this site does — it has its own app privacy notice.
Microtube Technologies Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201838271G) is a private company limited by shares, incorporated in Singapore on 11 November 2018. We build wearable haptics and soft sensing, and we operate this website (microtube.tech). We are the data controller for the personal information described below.

Our contact form and our event form (below) are the only places on this site where we ask you for personal information. The contact form collects:

The form also contains a hidden field that only automated spam bots fill in. It collects nothing from real visitors and exists solely to discard junk submissions.
If you email us directly instead, we hold whatever you choose to put in that email, for the same reason and on the same terms.
At exhibitions and events we show a QR code that opens our event form. We store what you enter only if you tick the consent box. It collects:

The form also records which event you visited, and, if you tried a demo such as ARIS Maya, a reference number for that session, the programme you tried and its result (for example the reps counted and your best hold). The demo itself stores no personal information; the reference only lets us match your result to your details. Our staff may note how interested you seemed, against that reference, so the right person follows up.
We collect contact details to answer your enquiry and carry on the conversation that follows — about a sale, a partnership, technical support or research. If you leave your details at an event, we use them to email you your result and to follow up about what you told us you are interested in; if you ticked the news box, we also send occasional product news, and you can opt out at any time. The automatic technical data above exists only so the site can be delivered, displayed and protected from abuse.
Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where your enquiry concerns buying from us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act applies, you consent to this use by choosing to send us the message, or by ticking the consent box on our event form.
We keep contact-form and event-form submissions, and the emails they generate, for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of our dealings with you — normally no more than 24 months after our last exchange, unless we are working together, in which case we keep them for as long as that relationship lasts. Server logs are kept for the short period our hosting provider retains them.
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@microtube.tech and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and you never need an account or a form to ask.
This site is aimed at businesses, researchers and developers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If we change what we collect or why, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
