The short version. ARIS Go collects the phone number or email you sign in with, the profile and body measurements you enter, and the workouts you record — so your training history survives a lost or replaced phone. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind, and we never sell your data. Anything you record about injuries stays on your phone and is never uploaded. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app.
This notice is about the ARIS Go mobile app and the ARIS band it pairs with. Our website, microtube.tech, collects different things and has its own privacy notice.

Everything below is either something you type in or something the app records while you train. There is no hidden collection.

Some of what the app holds is deliberately kept on the device only. It is not uploaded, it is not backed up to us, and there is no column for it on our servers:
The app needs Bluetooth to find and connect to your ARIS band. On Android 11 and older, the operating system requires an app to hold the location permission before it will allow any Bluetooth scanning — that is an Android rule, not something we want. We do not collect, derive or store your location, and on Android 12 and newer we declare the scan as explicitly unrelated to location, which is why newer phones no longer ask for it.
We hold this information to provide the app you asked us to provide — performing our contract with you. Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, that is our lawful basis, together with our legitimate interest in keeping accounts secure. Where Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act applies, you consent to it by creating an account, and may withdraw that consent by deleting the account.
Some of what you enter — weight, body fat, muscle mass and how you train — may count as health data in your country. We treat it that way: it is collected only because you chose to record it, used only to show it back to you and build your routines, and never shared beyond the circumstances listed above.
We keep your account data for as long as the account exists. Delete the account and it goes immediately — see below. Sign-in security records (hashed codes and their IP addresses) are short-lived and are cleared when the account is deleted.
In the app, open Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and everything attached to it — profile, body measurements, every workout and set, your coach link, and the sign-in records for your phone number or email — from your phone and from our servers. It happens straight away and cannot be undone.
If you have already uninstalled the app, you can still ask us to delete the account: request account deletion.
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or stop using it. Email hello@microtube.tech and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
ARIS Go is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will delete it.
If we change what the app collects or why, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
