During the 2026 Inclusion Conference on the Bund (外滩大会) in Shanghai, held from 9 to 12 September at Huangpu World Expo Park, the HEXR Haptic Glove was showcased by a Xiaohongshu creator with a following of more than one million.
The Shanghai booth was run by our China partners. HEXR was in two places that week: they were showing the glove in Shanghai while the team in Beijing was exhibiting at the China International Fair for Trade in Services, which ran over almost exactly the same dates.
The creator experienced the HEXR glove firsthand and featured the technology in a video shared on Xiaohongshu (小红书 / REDnote), introducing haptic technology and the possibilities of feeling and interacting with virtual environments to a wider audience.
The feature provided an opportunity for HEXR to reach beyond industry and professional audiences and demonstrate how haptic feedback can bring a more physical and immersive dimension to digital experiences.
